For each KIYOLA KF-10 digital piano, the Karimoku furniture factory - Japan's largest manufacturer of wooden furniture since 1940 - designs and manufactures the instrument body, using only solid wood from a controlled source. Thanks to this, the slim, stylish and unique appearance of the instrument creates perfect harmony with the varied pattern of the used walnut (KF-10-KW) or oak (KF-10-KO). Each model is unique, handmade, which gives this special instrument a distinctive character and individuality.

The timeless beauty of natural wood

Each KIYOLA KF-10 instrument is made in the company's Japanese factory, close to Roland's headquarters and factories. After the production of the instrument body, the assembly - including the installation of the internal electronics, keyboard and speakers - is carried out by Roland. All phases of production are carried out using controlled, environmentally friendly materials and technologies, which guarantees the constant, excellent quality of the instrument.

The KIYOLA KF-10 digital piano is a real masterpiece that you can't just walk away from. Like high-end Roland LX/HP digital pianos, the KF-10 uses SuperNATURAL Piano modeling technology for sound generation. Unlike most digital pianos, this technology recreates the complex sound of acoustic pianos instead of simply sampling. The result is a rich, lively and characterful sound that perfectly conveys even the finest nuances of piano playing at every moment. The latest PHA-50 keyboard's durable plastic structure and wooden side panel cover give the instrument a traditional look and provide a guaranteed experience while playing. In addition to the warm and characterful sound thanks to the four built-in speakers, the accessory pedal also supports the half-pedal technique, in order to perfectly shape the sound.

Wireless connection via Bluetooth for various music applications

Don't be fooled by the minimalist approach of the KIYOLA KF-10. You can access the functions of the piano via a wireless Bluetooth connection with various music applications after connecting a smartphone or tablet. Let's first try the KF-10's dedicated apps through an Android or iOS system to select different tones, play built-in songs or set the built-in metronome. Then, with the Roland Piano Designer application, you can set all 88 piano sounds individually according to your own vision. And the piaScore and Sheet Music Direct applications help you easily learn your favorite piano pieces or other songs, and you can also flip through the sheet music pages with the instrument's pedal. In addition, the KIYOLA KF-10 sound system can be doubled with four wireless speakers, through which audio from an iOS or Android device can be heard.

Winner of the Good Design Award in 2015

Since its more than fifty years of existence, the Japan Institute for Design Promotion has been awarding the Good Design Award's prestigious G Mark badge to a product that combines aesthetics and functionality in an outstanding way. The KIYOLA KF-10 digital piano, created from the meeting of Roland cutting-edge technologies and Karimoku craftsmanship traditions, was found by JPD to be outstanding in terms of both criteria, so in September 2015 - right before the official announcement of the instrument - it won this internationally recognized award.
