The MP11 has received the beautiful sound of the world-renowned Kawai EX concert grand piano. All 88 keys of this unique instrument have been precisely measured, analyzed and painstakingly reproduced using Harmonic Imaging™ XL technology. This superior technique creates the full tonal range of the original grand piano, allowing the pianist to play the piano at a high level from the most delicate pianissimo to the most powerful fortissimo.
With separable Concert, Pop and Jazz styles, the MP11 offers the finest acoustic piano sound a digital instrument has ever produced.
In addition, Kawai's Virtual Technician feature allows you to display various characteristics at the touch of a single button or switch.

Electric Piano section: Retro style electric piano, effects and amp simulation

Kawai MP11 features retro-style electronic piano sounds, each with distinct characteristics. Sensing the organic sound and naturalness, we can use a wide range of effects to play the sounds with one of the 5 amplifiers and the speakers.

SUB section: High quality strings, pads, bass and more

The MP11 SUB section presents, among other things, high-level strings, various pads, bass and other useful sounds that are ideal for creating keyboard zones, layering acoustic or digital piano or playing in separate modes. Additional Bell, Air and Voice layers enable better depth and sound, with customizable ADSR parameters and resonance/cut-off control set together from the control panel.

MIDI Out section: 4-zone master keyboard control

The MP11 introduces the new, further developed MIDI Out section, with 4 unique zones that can control external devices or be integrated into the studio as a master keyboard. Using the panel buttons CC# send to the hardware or the recording transport buttons control the DAW without a single mouse click.
The MP11 also includes LINE IN connectors and a built-in volume control to easily synchronize the piano with the external device connected to it. Like old expansion modules, synthesizers or instrument software running on a laptop.

Intuitive operation, larger LCD, programmable control buttons

The control panel of the MP11 is clean, easy to use, the buttons connected to each other are arranged in groups and located where the pianist would expect.
The large LCD display and 4 programmable control buttons allow you to easily set many parameters without getting lost in the menus, and you can concentrate on playing the piano without being distracted.

The Kawai MP11 allows you to save each note, button position, sound and adjustable parameter in advance in the memory and recall it with a single button press. More than 200 adjustable SETUP memories will satisfy even the busiest artist who likes to plan his performance in advance even before the start.

USB to Device functionality, MP3/WAV/SMF file recording and playback

The MP11 is equipped with USB connectors, with which we can not only connect to the computer for MIDI use, but also provides the opportunity to download and upload data from USB memory devices. This USB to Device feature gives you the option to save adjusted sounds, sounds, SETUP memories and recorded songs to an external memory device. USB memory devices can also be used to play MP3/WAV/SMF MIDI files, giving the musician the opportunity to play with musical accompaniment or simply learn the chords and melodies to create a new song.
It is also possible to listen to the piano performance on any audio device, send it by e-mail as an MP3/WAV/SMF file or for further editing using an audio mixer.
