Kawai Japan is pleased to announce the ES520, the latest addition to Kawai's popular portable digital ES series. The ES520 is a new mid-range model that offers many of the functions of the ES920 at a more affordable price.
Kawai ES instruments are high-performance 88-key portable digital pianos suitable for the home, stage, auditorium or classroom. The all-new ES520 combines Kawai's acclaimed Responsive Hammer keyboard with Harmonic Imaging's piano sound, which reproduces the touch and tone of a concert grand piano and provides an authentic playing experience for pianists.In addition to a strong selection of various acoustic piano sounds, the ES520 offers a wide range of excellent electric pianos, organs, strings and more has sounds that allow these instruments to support a wide range of musical styles.
These sounds are easily selected from the piano's elegant control panel, which features an intuitive button layout and sharp OLED graphic display
The latest ES series models boast powerful 40W stereo speaker systems and include sound processing and amplification technologies. These were developed in collaboration with Japanese audio specialists Onkyo. This unique combination of hardware enables these lightweight, portable instruments to deliver excellent-sounding bass and high frequencies, reproducing Shigeru Kawai's excellent piano tones, and with exceptional clarity and richness.
The modern ES520 also has built-in Bluetooth MIDI and Bluetooth Audio connectivity, allowing applications such as Kawaiʼs PianoRemote control application or a wide range of third-party learning and leisure applications to be enjoyed wirelessly, or from a smartphone, tablet, the piano is stunning through your audio system without additional cables.
Wired connectivity is still supported, with standard MIDI, USB, Line In and Line Out outputs offering a range of options for home, studio and stage use. The latest ES models use a brand new exterior design, the flat surface is complemented by smooth, rounded edges.
The stable body of the instruments is surprisingly light, the ES520 weighs only 14.5 kg. As the most portable piano in its class, the ES520 is an excellent choice for concert or studio musicians, as well as ideal for academic and religious institutions. What's more, when connected to the dedicated HM-5 stand with F-302 triple pedal in black or white, these versatile devices become a stylish, ultra-compact design, providing an exceptional playing experience in the living room, office or bedroom.
