The ES120 is the latest addition to Kawai's ES range of high quality portable digital pianos, and is the successor to the hugely popular ES110.
This all-new 2022 model features an improved version of the Responsive Hammer Compact keyboard, with improved cushioning to help reduce operating noise when the keys are released. The basic acoustic piano tones of the ES120 have also been refreshed for the most affordable ES instrument, featuring the latest Shigeru Kawai SK-EX samples while retaining the existing Kawai EX concert from the previous generation ES110 model. In addition, the ES120 includes new electronic pianos, strings and bass sounds from the larger ES520, and even a real upright piano sound.
In addition to USB-MIDI and Bluetooth MIDI, the ES120 now includes Bluetooth Audio connectivity, allowing the sound of smart devices to be played through the instrument's speakers wirelessly, or via standard 1/4” Line Out connectors. As with the ES920 and ES520 portable pianos launched in autumn 2020, the ES120 supports Kawai's latest PianoRemote and PiaBookPlayer apps, allowing you to select sounds, settings and lesson song scores from a compatible iOS or Android device.
The ES120 features an all-new exterior design, with the instrument's updated control panel encased in an attractive, polished casing. which runs the length of the keyboard. Its stylish yet strong body weighs only 12.5 kg, making the ES120 an excellent choice for gigging. musicians and scientific and religious institutions. Like its predecessor, the ES120 can be converted into an ultra-compact piano replacement using the dedicated stand and triple pedal accessories, providing an excellent playing experience for the lounge, office or office bedroom. The complete package is available in black, white and new light grey* to match the mood and decor of almost any room.
